About Us

Who We Are

We are part of a global movement of people seeking to fulfill God’s mission in the world by being the Church. We’re committed to studying the Word of God and faithfully living it out. We’re dedicated to the mission that Jesus Christ gave every believer: to love God, love others, and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 22:36-40, Matthew 28:18-20).

It’s our deep desire to be a people who love everyone…no matter what – but also a place that calls people forward to the way, the truth, and the life found only in Jesus. We want to journey with people every step of the way. If you are open to the things of God, searching for spiritual truth, or seeking a church family to worship and serve with, please come join us.

Our Mission

"Transforming the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ by loving God, loving others, and making disciples."

In actual practice, we live out this mission by expanding the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Whenever a soul is redeemed, the Kingdom expands. Whenever light penetrates the darkness, whenever justice prevails over injustice, whenever knowledge replaces ignorance, whenever healing mends what is broken, whenever freedom in Christ overcomes the bondage of this world, the Kingdom expands. Hell has stolen much; Heaven’s design is to take it back. Jesus is the Way.

What We Believe

The following statements reflect the beliefs and heart of Fellowship Community Church:

God is triune.

We believe God is one substance, three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Jesus is the Subject.

There is one Lord, who is God’s Son Jesus Christ, over the church. Christ is the church’s ultimate authority on all matters (Acts 2:36).

The work of the Holy Spirit is essential.

God’s Spirit equips believers with unique gifts that enable us to carry out the mission of Christ in the world. At the same time, the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in every believer, which demonstrate the Spirit’s presence within us (Galatians 5:22-23).

The Bible is our rule of faith.

2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” All scripture is inspired by God, and it teaches us how to know and obey God. Therefore, we believe the Bible should be read and studied diligently.

Salvation makes us members of God’s church.

We believe that the church is composed of every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. We enter into the life of the church, not by joining a denomination or a human organization, but by committing our lives to Christ (John 3:1-7).

Christians are called to be one.

We believe that God calls all followers of Christ to live in unity and peace, regardless of who they are or the church they attend (Galatians 3:28). While we may not agree on everything, we can rally around our subject: Jesus.

We must be holy.

We believe that followers of Christ have been called to live a life of love, purity, and godliness. We are called to live like Christ, taking on a new nature (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We are to be disciple-makers.

Each of us is called to fulfill Matthew 28:18-20, making fully devoted followers of Christ—disciples—who will then teach others to follow Christ.

We are to love God and neighbor.

We are not only called to love God with our entire being, but also to love all that He loves (Matthew 22:37-39).

We are to be good stewards.

Since God is the source of life, all of life is to be used for the honor, glory, and service of God (Psalm 24:1).

There is equality in ministry and leadership.

The distribution of the spiritual gifts of God are not determined by gender. God pours His Spirit on all people, so that what was once divided is now united. We celebrate, encourage, and empower women in every area of ministry, as gifted and directed by the Holy Spirit. From the earliest days of the Church of God movement, we’ve celebrated the ministry leadership of outstanding women clergy and continue to do so (Acts 2:17Gal 3:28).
